Old Man River is a political podcast built on a single, uncomfortable truth: in American democracy, money flows like water — and it always finds the lowest point. That lowest point is the gap between what politicians promise and what they deliver.

We trace that flow. We follow the money. We name the names. And we propose real, concrete legislative solutions — bills that have been drafted, written, and published here for anyone to read, critique, and demand their representatives adopt.

This is not a show about partisan politics. Left and right are corporate-funded distractions. This is about the fundamental question of whether a democracy can survive when the people holding power answer to money instead of to citizens.
